Have you ever faced a mountain that seemed impossible to climb? Have you tried to ‘move’ those mountains or taken your own approach to the problem? More often than I care to admit, I certainly have. However, we have a God who is willing and ready to intervene on our behalf.

Today was a special outing for “granddaughters” and “Nana,” and we had a wonderful day. We started at Yogurt Mountain and then went to the park, where the girls eagerly chased ducks until they flew far, far, far, far, far away. Then, of course, it was time for pictures.

At the park, Chloe noticed a misplaced yellow parking curb. She exerted herself to move it, but it did not budge, yet she persisted with all her might. Henslee then attempted to help, but she faced the same challenge. The curb was too heavy for the girls to shift.

Watching from a distance, I was reminded of the many times I have tried to fix situations beyond my control. My energy and resolve waned. Despite my efforts, I couldn’t fix, change, or interfere with the issue—and I am grateful I could not. No one can intervene in a situation as God does.

Recently, God has been reminding and teaching me the importance of placing those “Tough Situations”—even the “Parking curbs” that seem impossible to move—into His hands.

Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 Share on X

According to God’s truth, our initial step is to “Cast” our worries. We are not meant to hold onto them but to cast them away. Specifically, we are told to cast “All Our Anxieties,” not just some, but everything. We are then called to cast these anxieties on God because He cares for us.

Instead of directing our energy toward worries or trying hard to move mountains, we were never called to move; let us run to Jesus and cast all our cares on Him. Then, leave them at His feet for Him to take care. Share on X

Special Note: Be mindful of taking your problems and casting them through gossip. In addition, be alert to who you are seeking counsel from. Go to God first. Then, if the occasion calls for Godly counsel, be mindful of those you go to. Look for fruit.

God can and will always help us with whatever we may be facing. With God, “Nothing is too difficult for Him.” I’m grateful for this reminder today! And I am also thankful for my two adorable ones!
