Be transparent with your children. Do not act like you have it all under control. Let them know your flaws and your mistakes so they can see how God works in our lives. Let them know it is in Christ’s strength from which you draw. Watch as they open up to you!

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” (2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV).
