Children learn a way of life by watching their parents in action. I have always been frugal and only bought things when they were on sale or clearance. One day I overheard my young son and daughter discussing a purchase in the store. They said, “Oh that’s not on sale. We can’t get that!” They had already picked up on this. We believe in living a frugal life so that we have extra to give to the church and to those less fortunate.
