Do simple things to create traditions and bonding times to foster family love and togetherness. Before the kids leave, we gather whoever is present when the grandkids are here and put one or two of the youngest in the middle to say our good-byes and have a family “huggle,” which always ensues in lots of giggles and fun. I wish we had thought of this when we were raising our kids!
