A fun and free activity most young children love is to go thru picture albums (paper or digital) with your child, recalling happy memories together or with people who love them. Even little guys love seeing their birth pictures and birthdays, and so forth. You can point out how loved they are; for instance, see how your Aunt Suzie loves you, and so forth.
