Schedules are your friend. I think we all thrive a little bit more when we know what to expect and what is coming next. Even though it takes a little more effort on the front end to lay out the clothes or prep the meals, it helps everyone to know what and how they should be moving throughout the day. Rhythms help to set up boundaries for you as a mom as well where you are able to have a quiet hour or homework time after school. Another large aspect of this is being willing to say no to things. Schedule in rest, margin, and time with one another. Even in saying no and scheduling rest, you are teaching your family healthy rhythms of life.
