Always guard your words: Mom, season your communication with your child with grace, love, and the Spirit’s leading. Times will occur when you have to confront your child over his or her actions, yet in doing so, do it in love. You may have to share some hard truths, yet in doing so, pray first and let the Spirit lead. When we allow the Spirit to lead us, our words will reflect His leading and resolution can result. Yet when we allow our emotions to lead us, our words will reflect those emotions and wounds can result.
